Back then I used to use this slick back undercut mostly because it had the Beckham hairstyle fever and also I really thought it looked cool and stood out from the crowd. The thing is, I have really thick and curly hair, what should I do? At this time it was really hard to find a product that would be easy to use and could hold my hair into shape the whole day. Even bigger salon brands that I would spend a lot on product, couldn't get the job done. Only thick and bad smelling gel would do the trick but I didn't like the way that it shaped my hair, and especially the smell. So as a former salon owner, I decided to search for my own brand, something with high quality and high hold that would keep the promise.
After 2 years of research and testing with chemists and barbers that I really trust, we got to our first pomade. We called it the Classic Hold! We gave it this name to remember some old school products that had really high hold! Especially the homemade ones.
And here's the thing, we did an awesome job with this pomade! But it was focused on thick and curly hair like I said in the beginning. And what I've learned with this is that the best pomade for your hair is, well, depends on your hair and style! I know it seems simple but back then I was so focused on my hair that I didn't even think about other products. That's when it got to me, I have to do something to help other men have their own style with their own hair!

The first pomade created by our chemists and barbers took almost 2 years to reach the perfection we were looking for. This was the first Pomade developed by Knucklehead. It has a stiffer gelatinous consistency and Knucklehead's unique vanilla aroma. It is a water-based product, very easy to distribute through the hair, leaving a textured effect on the hair with a wet finish. Its medium fixation is long lasting. Ideal for : the Classic is great for low hairstyles, that is, it lays the strands well, or for finishes that don't need as much support. It has the ability to completely seal the strands leaving your hairstyle very even, bringing a lot of style and confidence to your hairstyle. This was a product that we wanted a Brazilian signature, but with our own characteristics. It has a more rigid gelatinous consistency and the aroma inspired by the tropical summer of mango and passion fruit, or "maraco-manga" as some have called it. It is a water-based product, very easy to distribute through the hair, leaving a textured effect on the hair with a wet finish. Its medium fixation is long lasting, even in the heat of summer.
